Tanzania: Heart & Soul of Kilimanjaro
On GLA’s Tanzania: Heart & Soul of Kilimanjaro program you will:
- Develop educational resources to tutor children at a local primary school
- Help build and restore school facilities
- Experience an African safari and spot zebras, lions, rhinos and more
- Learn how Tanzanian coffee is cultivated at a family-run farm
- Spend an afternoon with a Tanzanian host family
- Discuss current social issues facing Tanzanian women and children
- Try African dance, percussion and batik cloth dyeing
