I’M ALREADY ENROLLED IN A GLA PROGRAM OR INTERNSHIP… HOW DO I APPLY?

You will need to take two steps to become a Fellow, and it’s much easier than it looks at first glance!

Step #1

First, you’ll need to log into your GLA Account here. Then, simply navigate to the Dashboard linked at the top of the page.

Once you are on the Dashboard, simply scroll down and find the section titled GLA Fellowship. There will be a blue button in this section that reads ‘Enroll in a GLA Fellowship’ that you need to click.

From there, you’ll be taken to a page where you can select between the Arts & Letters Fellowship or Honors Fellowship. Make your selection here. And don’t worry, you won’t need to pick a Fellowship concentration until you submit the full Fellowship application in a few moments.

Once you have selected your Fellowship, you’ll be taken to a payment page to pay the full Fellowship Fee.

Once you have added the Fellowship as a product and paid the fee, return to your GLA Account Dashboard. Please note that it may take a few minutes to refresh.

Step #2

Scroll down and find the section titled GLA Fellowship. There will be a blue button titled Complete Application. Click it, fill out the brief application and then press the final blue button titled Submit Application. If you head back to the Dashboard, you should see the status under GLA Fellowship change from Incomplete to Complete.

That’s all you have to do! From there, the GLA Fellowship Committee will review your application.

• If you are accepted in your desired Fellowship, you will be receiving your packet and detailed instructions on your Fellowship curriculum, most likely within the next 5-10 business days.
• If for any reason you’re not accepted into the Fellowship of your choice, we will refund you the full Fellowship Fee.

Special Notes

If you can’t seem to find the Fellowship application status correctly after you have submitted the application, don’t fret! You may need to select ‘Make This Application Active’ on the Dashboard to switch between your GLA program/internship and your Fellowship “product” on your Dashboard.

I WANT TO ENROLL IN A GLA PROGRAM AND A FELLOWSHIP AT THE SAME TIME… HOW DO I APPLY?

That’s wonderful! We can make this process super easy for you if you follow the steps below.

Step #1

First, you’ll need to enroll in a GLA program/internship as well as a Fellowship using our online enrollment form.

Select any program/internship you wish to enroll in by choosing the destination country or island, and selecting the session dates you prefer.

Then, scroll down to the section titled Special Offers, Fellowships, Multi‑Programs & More and select Fellowships. Then select either the GLA Fellowship: Arts & Letters or GLA Fellowship: Arts & Letters product to add to your account.

Then, simply navigate to the bottom of the online enrollment form and click the button that reads Reserve Your Spot.

You will then be taken to a payment page, where you must pay your program/internship deposit and application fee, as well as your Fellowship Fee. You can pay the remainder of your program/internship tuition at a later date if you so desire.

Step #2

To proceed to the next step, which is filling out your brief Fellowship application, click on the Dashboard link at the top of the page after payment has been made.

Please note that it may take a few minutes to refresh.

Scroll down and find the section titled GLA Fellowship. There will be a blue button titled Complete Application. Click it, fill out the brief application and then press the final blue button titled Submit Application.
