Step 1: Enroll in a GLA Program (if needed)

You must be enrolled in a GLA program or internship to apply for a Fellowship.

• If you’re not yet enrolled, start by enrolling in any GLA program or internship through our online enrollment form (or call Admissions at 858-771-0645 for help).

• If you’re enrolling in a program and Fellowship together, add a Fellowship during the enrollment process under Special Offers > Fellowships > Multi-Programs & More, then complete payment.

Step 2: Add the Fellowship & Pay the Fee

1. Log into your GLA Account and go to your Dashboard.
2. Scroll to the GLA Fellowship section and click Enroll in a GLA Fellowship.
3. Select your Fellowship type (Arts & Letters, Honors, or Service) and submit payment.
   1. You’ll choose your Fellowship concentration later in the application.

Step 3: Complete the Fellowship Application

1. Return to your Dashboard (it may take a few minutes to refresh).
2. In the GLA Fellowship section, click Complete Application, fill out the brief form, and submit. Your status will change from Incomplete to Complete once submitted.

That’s it! The GLA Fellowship Committee will review your application. If accepted, you’ll receive your Fellowship packet and curriculum details within 5–10 business days. If you are not accepted, your full Fellowship Fee will be refunded.

Helpful Tip:
If you don’t see the correct Fellowship status on your Dashboard, select “Make This Application Active” to toggle between your program/internship and Fellowship.
