Students will come together alongisde local organizations to build meaningful connections, work collaboratively, and take action to protect Hawaiʻi’s forests and wildlife. Through hands-on restoration and conservation efforts, they’ll strengthen their bond with nature, support local communities and help preserve the diverse ecosystems that once thrived across even the driest parts of the islands.

“This experience as a whole was one of the best that I’ve ever had. This trip pushed me outside of my comfort zone multiple times, which helped me discover so many new opportunities that I can enjoy. I would not hesitate to not only take another GLA trip myself but also recommend trips to others.”
