SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST
Global Leadership Adventures invites all students to submit entries for our Summer 2026 Social Media Contest.
Students will upload videos of their experience on a GLA program to their personal social media accounts. Throughout the summer, we’ll choose a Monthly Winner from video or photo student submissions. At the end of summer, we’ll crown our Grand Prize Winners for the most creative, inspiring, and fun photo collections and videos of the season.
STUDENT SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST PRIZES
Monthly Winners
Winners will be announced on 7/1, 8/1 and 9/1. Winners will be based on when their submission was posted, not when their program starts or ends. Monthly winners will receive:
- GLA T-shirt
- $50 Gift Card to REI, Amazon, or the outlet of their choice (within reason)
- Repost/collaboration post on our channels

Grand Prize Winners will be revealed on September 15th for the following and will receive:
- Best Overall Photo Collection
- 1st – $300 Gift Card
- 2nd – $200 Gift Card
- 3rd – $100 Gift Card

- 2nd – $200 Gift Card
- 3rd – $100 Gift Card
- Most Creative Video – $200 Gift Card
- Most Inspiring Story Video – $200 Gift Card
- Photo/Video: Highest Social Engagement (Crowd Favorite) – $200 Gift Card

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Video Guidelines
- Length: Under 1 minute
- Format: Vertical
- Content: Must relate to GLA experience
- Tone: Positive, school-appropriate and creative!
- Originality: All work must be their own (no copyrighted music or media)
- Multiple submissions are allowed!
Photo Guidelines
- Length: At least 5 photos (carousel or collage)
- Content: Showcase the GLA experience
- Tone: Positive, school-appropriate and creative!
- Originality: All photos must be their own (no photos from staff or other students)
- Multiple submissions are allowed!
How to Submit
- Post video or photo carousel to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts
- Use the hashtag: #experienceGLA2026
- Tag our account:
- @glateens on Instagram
- @experiencegla on TikTok & YouTube
- Make sure the post is public
- Follow us on the platform you are posting on.
